CEQURA Conference 2026

Munich, Germany | September 29–30, 2026

The 16th CEQURA Conference on Advances in Financial and Insurance Risk Management, organized by the Society for Financial and Insurance Econometrics (SOFINE), is a premier international conference for cutting-edge research at the intersection of econometrics, finance, insurance, and quantitative risk analysis.

In a global environment characterized by structural market transformations, technological disruption, climate-related uncertainty, systemic interdependencies, and increasing regulatory complexity, the rigorous modeling and governance of risk have become central to financial stability and institutional resilience. Advances in data science, artificial intelligence, high-dimensional econometrics, and macro-financial modeling are reshaping how risk is measured, priced, transferred, and supervised. CEQURA provides a platform for addressing these developments through high-level scholarly exchange and informed dialogue between academia, industry, and policymakers.

Since its inception in 2010, CEQURA has established itself as a distinguished venue for presenting innovative theoretical contributions and empirically grounded research with practical relevance. The conference reflects SOFINE’s broader mission as a non-profit scientific association: to promote excellence in financial and insurance econometrics, advance methodological development, and foster sustained interaction between academic research and professional practice. By convening leading researchers, regulators, and practitioners, CEQURA contributes to strengthening the analytical foundations of risk management and enhancing the resilience of financial and insurance systems.
